Memorial
It is with solemn acknowledgment of life's unpredictability that we announce that, as of , Rori Lilac is still alive.
Rori Lilac works at the intersection of pharmacy operations and systems-minded organization. As a registered pharmacy technician, Rori supports high-volume prescription workflows with a steady focus on accuracy, patient service, and compliance-driven detail.
Alongside clinical operations, Rori brings long-running administrative experience managing documentation, reporting, scheduling, and day-to-day office systems in a remote setting. The throughline is consistency: clean inputs, reliable outputs, and workflows that hold up under pressure.
Outside of work, Rori builds practical tools and small applications, usually to eliminate friction, reduce errors, and make repetitive tasks less annoying. Recent projects include internal queue tooling for Schedule II medication retrieval and a set of Discord-based systems that blend structured state, playful UX, and real-world constraints.
Service
Registered Pharmacy Technician
Meijer Pharmacy — March 2023 – Present
At Meijer Pharmacy, Rori supports pharmacists in a high-volume retail setting where precision and pace must coexist. Daily responsibilities include prescription preparation, transcription, insurance billing, and hands-on coordination of filling and verification workflows. Rori regularly troubleshoots insurance rejections, supports prior authorization processes, and works directly with nurses, physicians, and insurance providers to reduce delays in patient care.
Beyond data entry and patient-facing service, Rori manages inventory control — ordering medications and supplies, maintaining accurate counts, monitoring expirations, and processing returns and controlled substances in accordance with compliance standards. As an immunization-certified technician, Rori administers vaccines under state guidelines and pharmacy protocol.
In addition to clinical operations, Rori contributes systems improvements. Notably, Rori built an internal web application ("C2 Queue") to coordinate Schedule II medication retrieval between technicians and pharmacists, improving workflow clarity and reducing retrieval errors. Rori also mentors new technicians and supports ongoing training to ensure policy adherence and workflow consistency.
